Diego started his career in home design, where his passion for architecture and interior design allowed him to be creative and understand the way people live and function in their home. In 2004 while studying in Connecticut, he gained his first experience working for an architecture firm learning the trade and gaining experience in the world of building and design. In 2005 he married Vanessa and not soon after started their family. They decided it was time to move back to his home town of Houston, were Diego grew up. Starting right where he left off , Diego started sharping his skill in home design, working for many reputable new home production/custom builders in the Houston area for the next several years. His focus alway lied on balancing the art of function vs design in a home.
Years later his passion and curiosity for home living brought him over to the construction side. He worked in various communities around Houston like Cinco Ranch Patios in Katy, TX & Grand Mission in Richmond, TX. As Lead Builder, Diego oversaw the construction process of each of his homes, working closely with his customers to make sure they were satisfied with the final result. This experience gave him a new perspective on what it takes to bring a dream home to reality.
Diego's vision for the company is to make sure we always remember the importance of what a home is to a person by knowing what it means to them. When not working you might find him riding his mountain bike through the dirt trails Houston in Memorial Park and Terry Hershey Park (anthills).
Vanessa is Team Leader of The Burban Team , where she oversees the day to day operations of sales and management.
Vanessa, born in Colombia and raised in Los Angeles has long been exposed to different cultures spending most of her childhood being brought up in multiple countries. Vanessa later moved to Connecticut where she met Diego Burban (a native Houstonian) and soon after they married, and began to raise a family. They then decided to relocate back to his hometown in 2006 making Katy, TX a place to call home. She quickly fell in love with all Houston has to offer – from the great people to the delicious food all around. In 2007, once situated she began her career as a licensed REALTOR® helping customers list and find their dream home in Katy and Houston TX. She learned the importance of really getting to know her customer's and provide the best customer service. That was the attention to detail she learned that it takes to really get the job done.
Vanessa transferred over to new homes in 2012 as a community sales manager where she was able to fine-tune her customer service skills guiding customer’s through the process of a new home construction from beginning to closing. She served in many communities around the Houston area such as Cinco Ranch, Riverstone, and Bonterra in Cross Creek, giving her the opportunity to learn more of what’s important to all buyers. Vanessa is dedicated to providing clients with professional service and expert knowledge. Vanessa is a loving mother of two and she enjoys spending time with family/ friends, working out, traveling, exploring new restaurants, shopping and outdoor life.
